The Providence plug shaft has a diameter of 6.3mm and perfectly matches the inch-sized jacks that are used in a large number of guitars. The shaft does not come off easily or by accident. A greater number of contact points on the plug and shaft enhance the effects of the sound quality.
LThe L-type plug features Providence's original and well established angle structure (registered Utility Model) which allows you to insert and remove the plug easily and reduces excessive pressure on guitars or other equipment used. This plug is also easy to use with music gear such as wah-wah pedals which use angle-shape plugs.
The length of NP-14G series was designed by taking into account factors such as offering a lighter weight and saving space when connected to effectors, guitars and other equipment. NP-14G series plugs come as standard on all Providence cables, except the P203 and E205 models.
Short type Providence NP-12G/NP-12GL are available for patch cables which are used in situations where space is rather limited.
All of these 24K plated mono-structure plugs offer high conductivity and come as standard features with all Providence cables, except the E205 model. In addition to the standard PHONE plugs, a variety of plugs are available, such as the TRS PHONE, MINI TRS PHONE and RCA.
The plugs used for Providence cables, can be selected individually from among different shapes for both ends of each cable. Plug shapes can be selected freely according to usage or personal requirements. Also, in order to enable a guitar cable to fit the inset jack of a Stratocaster, an ST type (long cap) which can be easily inserted or removed is available for Premium Link Series and Platinum Link Series.
