FEATURES
A powerful distortion sound close to the modern thick high gain tube amplifiers!
The Heat Blaster HBL-4 provides aggressive distortion from classic rock to modern hard rock.
A powerful high gain distortion
The new Heat Blaster HBL-4 became more powerful distortion pedal with rich harmonics.
Its edgy aggressive sound got closer to the high gain tube amp sound while retaining picking nuance vividly.
Bass Boost Switch
Boosts the low-frequency range. This function achieves extra low end impact with humbucking and single-coil pickups.
It's more helpful with single-coil pickups to create tight bottom sound.
Wide dynamic range
Internal circuitry doubles the 9-volt supply voltage to 18 volts, achieving wider dynamic range and more amp-like sound than conventional distortion effects.
S.C.T. Circuit
In a normal True-Bypass circuit, in bypass mode the audio signal passes through two switch contacts. But in the HBL-3, in bypass mode the audio passes through a single contact, thanks to a single contact true-bypass circuit. The result is much higher sound quality and reliability than that provided by previously existing products. The S.C.T. Circuit now makes it possible to further reduce any change or deterioration in sound quality and gives the feeling that the footswitch circuit is removed entirely from your signal chain.
D.C.G. Circuit
Due to the adoption of the new double-contact grounding circuit (D.C.G. Circuit), by inserting a monaural plug into the output jack, the shield (sleeve) of the plug provides two points of contact to the pedal's ground circuit. By increasing the area of the point of contact, it becomes more difficult for a loose connection to occur, and provides the additional advantage of improved sound quality.
Multi-function LED
In addition to indicating the pedal's on/off status, the HBL-4 LED provides effective visual battery power monitoring. When the battery voltage drops below 7 volts the LED will become dimmer and begin to go out. The effect will still operate at this voltage, but to ensure optimum performance the battery should be replaced as soon as possible.
FEATURES
Warm overdrive ideally matches single-coil pickups
Warm overdrive with plenty of sustain gives guitarists a wide-ranging expressive voice. The tone is a perfect match for guitars with single-coil pickups.
Level compensation for different pickups
An input gain section that is similar to guitar amp circuits allows level compensation for pickups of differing output as well as boost.
FAT Switch
A FAT switch that boosts the low frequencies can be used to deliver an even fatter, more powerful sound.
Wide dynamic range
Internal circuitry doubles the 9-volt supply voltage to 18 volts, achieving wider dynamic range than conventional overdrive effects.
S.C.T Circuit
In standard "true bypass" circuits the instrument signal passes through two switch contacts when bypassed. The ROD-1 Single Contact True Bypass configuration ensures that the signal only passes through one switch contact when bypassed, for unmatched signal quality as well as reliability.

FEATURES
A wide dynamic range of overdrive sounds.
The Providence SOV-2 Stampede OD pedal is designed to deliver natural overdrive without obscuring the inherent characteristics and tone of the guitar being used. It features a special bipolar power supply that powers the internal circuitry with boosted voltage, providing a wider dynamic range than possible with conventional 9-volt powered overdrives. For singing lead tones and solid, chunky rhythms, there's nothing like the SOV-2 Stampede OD.
S.C.T Circuit
In standard "true bypass" circuits the instrument signal passes through two switch contacts when bypassed. The SOV-2 Single Contact True Bypass configuration ensures that the signal only passes through one switch contact when bypassed, for unmatched signal quality as well as reliability.
Multi-function LED
SIn addition to indicating the pedal's on/off status, the SOV-2 LED provides effective visual battery power monitoring. When the battery voltage drops below 7 volts the LED will become dimmer and begin to go out. The effect will still operate at this voltage, but to ensure optimum performance the battery should be replaced as soon as possible.
Caution!
In units with a serial number earlier than #2001, the battery will be drained rapidly so the use of an AC adaptor is recommended.
FEATURES
Wide Range Distortion
Using the same low-noise power supply up-converter circuit as the Stampede OD SOV-2 overdrive pedal, the output of a single 9-volt battery is increased to a level that is capable of delivering sonic depth and a wide dynamic range that would be impossible with a standard 9-volt power supply. The result is hard-hitting distortion with a big low end that is similar to what you'd expect from a large amp stack driven hard. Gain and tone controls make it possible to dial in anything from a natural crunch to fuzzy, dirty distortion, providing a broad spectrum of tones that can add new dimensions to your music.
2-band EQ
TREBLE and BASS controls can be used to optimally match the pedal output to the amp being used for the most musical response. These controls, in combination with the GAIN control, give you an extraordinary range of sonic variation.

Delay
Delay time is adjustable from 1 to 2700 milliseconds. The current delay time is accurately shown on the 4-digit 7-segment LED display.
Switchable Display Modes
Delay time can be displayed in milliseconds (mSec) or beats per minute (BPM). The BPM display is not simply a "rough estimate. " BPM delay times are displayed with metronome accuracy.
Tap Tempo
The delay time is precisely set according to the tempo tapped on the TAP switch.
A/B Preset Memory
The A/B preset memory allows two different delay times settings to be memorized and recalled via the footswitch as needed.
BEAT SPLIT
With the specified delay time as a quarter-note reference, seven delay time variations ranging from half notes to eighth-note triplets can be directly selected via the BEAT SPLIT knob. Rhythm-based delay time settings that previously required tedious calculations can now be made in an instant.
Analog Circuitry Featuring the VITALIZER®
Both the VITALIZER® that prevents degradation of the direct signal and the mixer that combines the direct signal with the delay signal are analog circuits that have been designed and built to the highest possible sonic standards.
Simple Operation

FEATURES
Employs Vitalizer B circuit in input section
The Vitalizer™ is a buffer that converts high impedance signals that are likely to degrade sound quality by picking up noise or lose higher frequencies to a low impedance signal that are less likely to be affected by those problems. It is an Active Impedance Converter that Providence has invented to make sure the sound doesn't get too Hi-Fi while respecting the instruments and effect pedals' sound character and signal quality. It delivers natural sound that’s faithful to the instrument by using a special circuit that minimizes the "Active" tone. The Vitalizer B is optimized for bass guitar, down tuned guitar and 7/8 string guitar with its lower frequency range. The Brick Drive BDI-1 features the Vitalizer B circuit on input section which delivers more vivid and clear sound by tightening up the bottom end that tends to get blurred with most other processors and effects. Also, VZ THRU output sends the signal that went through Vitalizer B circuit and converted to low impedance signal. It can be used as parallel out to be connected with other pedals or tuner.
Hi-Definition Bass Sound
With the carefully picked quality parts and circuit structure specifically designed for bass, it provides more power of expression with low noise. The internal operating voltage is boosted to 21V to achieve more dynamic range.
Mix Control
By mixing the drive sound and clean sound through the preamp EQ, it transforms and adds nuance to the overdriven sound. Even when it's heavily driven, the bottom end and fullness of the sound will be intact by adding the unaffected clean sound via the mix knob. Also, adding just a little but of drive gain to the clean sound gives a huge, thick, wall of bass style sound. The mix control allows you to create a variety of sound settings from a bit of edge to full out aggressive distortion The drive gain was designed to be used with the clean sound and blend it together, or wild full out distortion sound without the usual muddy bottom end.
EQ Section
The EQ section was designed based on the Dual Bass Station's circuit, Treble, Mid, Bass and we've added Presence control for even more controlover your tone. Presence controls the harmonics and sharpens the contour of the sound.
DI Out
Loaded with the balanced out for more flexibility in both live and recordingenvironments. The Ground lift switch prevents ground loop noise fromother units.
Bypass/Mute switch
The mini toggle switch selects the mode when the pedal is bypassed. When the Bypass mode is selected, it delivers direct sound that bypasses the Vitalizer B circuit. Mute mode is ideal to be used when the player switches or tunes instruments.
